1. Enhanced Online Security Features
  Your Credit Union has improved online security features designed to prevent CU@Home users from falling victim to identity theft. These changes will give you piece of mind—knowing that additional security is in place to protect your information.

2. What is the Security Code?
  The Security Code is an extra security measure used to stop criminals from randomly selecting account numbers.

3. Why can’t I use my physical keyboard to enter my password/
  The Password/PIN must now be entered using your mouse. The on-screen keyboard is used to prevent possible hackers from getting passwords while using special software designed to monitor key-board strokes.

4. What is my Security Image?
  The Security Image is used to help you identify the CU@Home as a legitimate site for your credit union. The text word or phrase you select will be converted to an image. When you log in you will see the Security Image with a watermark behind it. (Please do not enter any PIN’s or Passwords, as your Security Image).

5. Should I register my computer?
  YES. If you are using your own computer, registering will allow you to skip Step 7 in the sign-in process—this allows you more convenient log-in.

NO. If you are on a public computer, you want as many security steps as possible.

6. Will my PIN number change?
  No. The PIN you use to log onto CU@Home will remain the same.

7. What if I forget my PIN or the answers to my Security Questions and I am locked out of CU@Home?
  Please feel free to call your Credit Union and we can reset your information.

8. Can I change my Security Questions, Security Code (Image), Login Nickname or Register/Unregister my PC?
  Yes. Log into CU@Home and click on the “More Features” and then click on the “MFA” icon.

9. If I get locked out of CU@Home, will I have to re-register for the new enhanced features?
  No.

  Yes. This process only affects how you login, not your online accounts.

  All previous settings within your CU@Home session will remain the same after this change.

12. Why all this attention to the login process?
  While the chances of identity theft or monetary loss are slim, they do exist. One of the most popular methods of fraud is through impersonating individuals during the login process. It is our intention to make this process as difficult as possible for these criminals while keeping your experience as hassle-free as possible.

13. Why can’t I use certain words like “drop” as part of my security answer?
  There are certain words used by hackers to wipe out data. Therefore, the following words are restricted: “select”, “delete”, “update”, “insert”, “drop” and "null".
